For Blik Calendar Widget version 5.0 and newer, and Blik License Key. Last updated October 20, 2026.
This policy covers the Android apps Blik Calendar Widget ("Blik") version 5.0 and newer and Blik License Key, made by JoeProgrammer, Inc. ("we"). If you use Blik 4.3 or earlier, see the policy for those versions.
Blik reads the events from the calendars on your phone so it can show them in its widgets and screens. It does this only on your phone. Blik never sends your calendar anywhere, and we never see it.
Blik changes your calendar in one case: when you choose a picture for an event, Blik adds a short tag such as
{BlikImg:birthday} to that event's description. That way your choice follows the event to your other devices
through your calendar's normal syncing (for example, Google Calendar). To remove the tag, choose "Use default picture" for
the event in Blik. If the calendar can't be changed, Blik keeps your choice on your phone instead.
Your settings, picture choices, keyword rules, and widget colors are stored on your phone. Like most apps, Blik lets Android include these settings in your device backup (for example, to your Google account) so they can be restored on a new phone. That backup is handled by Android and Google, and we can't access it.
Blik Pro subscriptions, lifetime purchases, and tips are handled entirely by Google Play. We don't receive your name, email address, or payment details. Blik asks Google Play, on your phone, whether you have an active purchase so it can turn Pro on or off.
Purchases use Google's Play Billing Library, which is built into Blik. That's why Blik's permissions include internet access: the library communicates with Google Play to process purchases, and it may send Google diagnostic information about them. Blik's own code doesn't use the internet. Google's handling of your purchase is covered by Google's privacy policy.
Blik checks on your phone whether Blik License Key is installed. Blik License Key version 4.0 and newer collects no information. Earlier versions of the License Key used Google Play's licensing service to confirm the purchase, which is handled by Google.
If you send feedback from Blik, it opens your email app with a message to us that includes your Blik version, Android version, and phone model, to help us answer you. You see the whole message and can change it before you send it. We use emails only to reply to you and to improve Blik, and we don't share them.
Blik isn't directed at children. Blik itself doesn't collect information from anyone, including children.
Everything Blik stores is on your phone. Uninstalling Blik deletes it. Picture tags added to event descriptions stay in your calendar until you remove them (choose "Use default picture" for the event before uninstalling, or edit the event). If you emailed us and want that email deleted, ask us at the address below.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
